Hours at these spots often run into the evening, later than a typical coffee shop, and many stay open on weekends when demand is highest in Bronx. Seasonal and limited-time drink or dessert flavors are common, so a shop's current menu can differ from what is posted online; checking recent photos or calling ahead helps. Some locations in New York are dessert-only with no seating, meant for takeout, while others have cafe-style seating for staying a while. Straws for bubble tea are typically wide to accommodate the toppings, and are provided automatically unless you ask for a regular one. Loyalty apps and stamp cards are common at chain locations, and ordering ahead through an app can shorten a wait considerably at busy locations during peak after-school and after-dinner hours.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (347) 862-6031. Me and my boyfriend always get boba here. Usually the workers wear uniform and are attentive as well as being welcoming and friendly. Unfortunately, today we entered the store with new employees. As they took my order one of the girls working was on her phone and she was the one who took care of my order. Everything was messed up, I had asked for no ice and additional toppings which I did not receive. When I asked for no ice the girl who was ON HER PHONE and made my drink rolled her eyes and remade my drink. Again with non of my additional toppings included and at that point I didnt want to deal with her nasty attitude! So I just went about my day having to deal with her after a long stressful day.

Came here 11/7 around 6pm, a girl with piercings, curly hair & glasses made me drink. I witness this girl spill my drink all over the floor & her hand. She did not clean her hands but instead put the plastic on top shake my drink & while shaking my drink the boba was literally flying in the air then she handed me my drink while it was wet & sticky, didn’t even try to wipe it or anything. Then when I asked for a napkin she gave me an attitude. Terrible customer service

Every time I visit this location about 15 minutes before closing, the staff refuses to assist me. I completely understand wanting to wrap things up for the night, but if the store hours say you’re open until 9 PM, customers should be able to place orders until then. This has happened more than once, which is why it’s becoming frustrating. What makes it even more disappointing is that the times I have been able to order, I really enjoyed the boba. That’s why I keep coming back, I genuinely like the drinks. But when I stop by after work, still well within store hours, I’m not able to get served. I hope this can be addressed so customers who arrive before closing time can still be helped

I am a frequent customer of Gong Cha. Taking my ladyfriends to the place has helped me create a social atmosphere where we share a love for bubble tea. Even my tutoring student loves the strawberry bubble tea. My personal favorite is Passionfruit Green Tea, Regular Sugar and Ice, and I use the FIVESTARS App for lists of perks in my favorite stores. Just put in your number and earn points! The employees there are friendly, professional and can be sometimes conversational with an occasional smile from the beautiful cashiers. Thank you Gong Cha! Here are some of my and my friend’s orders!

Really wish this had been here years ago. I would have put solid money here. The drinks are spectacular. Honestly I had a lot boba and milk teas in my life in nyc. This belongs in my top 2 already. Tastes fresh, boba is good, good and fast customer service, clean, and honestly it serves the community well a good amount of flavors from simple to creative that caters to the locals well from young to older folks. All the drinks I had so far are amazing.
